Learn how to throw clay on the wheel - no previous knowledge necessary! Pottery on the wheel, centering and creating small or large vessels, surface design and careful glazing: together we will develop and practice the techniques for implementing personal ideas for the shape of vessels, but also for objects, reliefs or figures and get to know clay as a living material.
The first 1.5 kg of clay are included in the course price, after that the firing costs for course participants are €15 per kilo. You don't need to bring anything with you except maybe an old T-shirt or an apron. (But clay can also be easily washed out of clothing.) Glazes and tools are freely available in the studio. Clay can be purchased in the rami shop.
Maximum of 10 participants.
If you miss a session, it's no problem. All missed lessons can be made up for free and during our opening hours in rami Co-Making (unsupervised studio) provided you have sufficient basic knowledge (attendance at least 2 sessions). Of course, you can also make up for the lessons after the course has already ended.
On top of that, you will receive 3 free studio hours with every course booking. Material and firing costs are not included in these 3 hours.
