In this 8-week course, you will explore the diverse possibilities that porcelain offers. The aim is to learn a wide range of techniques and develop your own individual pieces.

You work with porcelain as a thin-walled, translucent material. You will learn how to control wall thickness, form clean edges, and consciously design surfaces. This is how you create individual vessels or objects with a clear design language.

Materials & Techniques:

  • Wheel throwing

  • Construction of small sculptures and vessels

  • Coloring porcelain

  • Experiments with special porcelain glazes

  • Deepening of precision and material understanding

Number of pieces to be fired: 2 kg of finished pieces (bisque and glaze firing) included in the course price
Additional options / Surcharge for extra pieces: €25/kg firing costs beyond the included 2 kg

This course is aimed at participants with solid experience in pottery throwing. Accurate centering and basic knowledge of working with ceramic materials are required. This corresponds roughly to the level of a completed 8-week course or comparable practical experience.
